Debrief 19
Long live $36K smoothies
Welcome to The Debrief, your weekly lifestyle recommendations pulled from our DMs, straight to your inbox.
September feels like the best time to hit the reset button. And after writing this week’s newsletter between vineyard views in the Douro Valley, flights from Lisbon to Paris to New York, and a side quest from South Florida back up to Westchester, we’re ready to re-anchor.
This week’s debrief is full of goodies—you’ll find our favorite end of summer salad, the podcast teaching us how to speak so people will listen, and our POV on Erewhon coming to NYC via Kith.
And in case you missed it, feel free to catch up with our latest tastemaker, Talia Mayden.
Let’s get into it.
👀 S.C.O.U.T
We’ve done the work for you—our top recommendations for the week.
Seeing | The Lazarus Project—We’ve found your next binge. This action thriller meets sci-fi show is about a secret organization that resets time to stop global catastrophes. It’s slick, high-stakes, and laced with drama. Think Black Mirror meets Bourne.
Consuming | Corn Salad With Tomatoes, Feta, and Mint—Soak up the last bits of summer with this corn and tomato salad before the season comes to an end. Accompany it with grilled chicken and a crisp sparkling water and you’re good to go.
On The Way Out | Cold Feet—And no, we’re not talking about the kind before marriage. But as fall encroaches, we’re repurposing these Casual Clogs from Rothy’s as our house slippers. If you live in a space with predominantly wood floors, you know how cold your toes can get… and how much your heels can hurt after being on your feet all day. These are the perfect blend of soft and supportive.
Unearthing | How to Speak So People Will Listen—Dominique here. This is what led me down the Jefferson Fisher rabbit hole. Together, Emma Grede and Jefferson Fisher unpack real-world conversational fixes that work from the boardroom to the dinner table and discuss the power of flipping your no to set healthy boundaries without guilt.
Trying | Casper Glow Nightlight—Lexi here. Now that I’m in my third trimester (woah!) I’m in full nesting mode and am getting the house setup for late nights with our newborn. This nightlight plugs right in, is motion activated, and softly brightens with ambient light as you get closer. Chic and functional.

Erewhon is crossing coasts to raid your wallet, but entry requires a membership
Erewhon is finally coming to New York, but not as the grocery store you know. Instead, the wallet clincher will arrive via Kith Ivy, the streetwear brand’s $36,000-a-year membership club opening this fall on Hudson Street.
For those unwilling to join yet another club, Erewhon will be available via Postmates and Uber Eats. So yes, you can expense $20 smoothies to the office.
But Erewhon is just bait. The real story is Kith reimagining the country club anchored not in golf or dinner service, but in padel (and no padel isn’t pickleball).
In partnership with Wilson, the club will feature indoor and outdoor courts alongside a custom sportswear line, plus Cafe Mogador on dining and Giorgio Armani behind a spa with sauna, hammam, cold plunge, and massage rooms.
Kith Ivy marks a shift in what membership clubs are for. Most clubs have limited themselves to dining or work, but Kith is the first to fuse sport, wellness, and lifestyle into a single concept.
It feels like the first step toward a model we’ve been craving: clubs that integrate how we actually live.
